Page 5 of the pdf: I trust you know already what “matrilocal” and “matrilineal” mean, but if you don’t, here you have them: they don’t have anything to do with “matriarchal,” “matrilocal” means that when you get married, you move in with the parents of the wife. “Matrilineal” means that you consider your real relatives only those on your mother’s side.

On page 14 of the pdf, you’ll find the concept of “structural violence,” that is, the idea that some social structures – inequality – can have physical effects on you.
