The purpose of this assignment is to analyze the nation’s laws and ethical principles regarding gun injury prevention.

As a hospital administrator, you have been tasked with creating and promoting a campaign that could be used to help prevent gun injury and death in your facility. As part of your efforts, you have been asked to go on a podcast to discuss gun injury prevention in your area.

Develop a 2-3-page podcast script that addresses the current legal and ethical dilemmas surrounding gun injury. In your script, be sure to include the following:

• Research and analysis of current gun control laws and legislation.
• Analysis of the ethical responsibilities of hospital administrators in addressing gun control prevention and ensuring the safety of staff, patients, and visitors.
• A specific initiative with an educational program, policy development, or community organization in your area.
• Justification of your talking points based upon the researched legal and ethical principles.
