I am providing you a template for submitting your HW assignment. For each HW you will be submitting a word file and an excel file.

Notes for the word file as below:

Keep it single spaced
Use bullets or numbering system, as appropriate
Write the question number
Write the actual question after the question number
Include your name in the header
Include page number in the footer (It should be in the format page 2 of 5 where 5 represents the total number of pages)
Have one section for concept questions, another for numerical problems, and one for internet exercises.
Each chapter should start on a new page.
Answers to numerical problems should not say anything like you divide so and so by so and so or add so and so. It is about answering the question that was asked. It is not about the process you followed mathematically.
Answer to the internet exercise should have an active link. You should have some explanation/summary in your own words addressing the main point. The cut copy paste part (if any) should be limited.
Page should be portrait, not landscape
In the excel file, I have put comments on the right side of the worksheet for your benefit. You will not have those comments in your submission though. The entire area shaded in gray will be missing in your submission.

I realize that some of the requirements here can be tedious, especially requirement about writing the questions. Therefore, after you successfully meet all requirements in any of your HW submission, I will send you an email stating that you are exempt from following tedious requirements hereafter. You may then submit all your subsequent HW assignments with a statement saying tedious requirements exempted via email dated xxx in the footer of the report.

Be advised that segregation requirement for input and output cells, formula requirement for all cells outside of input section, and clear color coding for output cells are never exempted. Also, you will not receive the exemption email unless all requirements are made.

Being able to use Excel and Word is a must-have skill set for MBA graduate. You need to be very comfortable with absolute and relative referencing and formatting in Excel. In Word, you should be able to manage heading structures, formatting, and indentation comfortably. If you do not feel that you have these skills, please watch some youtube videos to acquire these skills.
