1. Background and Description

To complete this assignment successfully, you need to demonstrate an ability to create a change request and report the status of your project, based on recent developments: Imagine your project is now 50% through the execution stage and one of your suppliers has just announced that due to covid challenges in staffing, the raw materials necessary for completion of the project will be delayed by 2 months unless a 25% premium is paid to an alternative supplier.

2. Status Report and Change Request

The new request has triggered the need for a change request. Your next status report is now due and the recent developments need to be included in the status report.

3. High-Level Requirements

The change request needs to consider all the impacts that this recent request will have on the project. Based on these impacts that you have identified, the change will be accepted, but there may be additional risks identified. The status report will include reference to the change request and summarize its impact to the project.

4. Deliverables

A completed “Change Request”, “Status Report” to be presented to the project sponsor for approval. Be sure to include an updated WBS and all other project documents that required modification due to this change.
